Why have a matching pair when you can have two different socks that somehow go together? The left and right feet come in their own unexpected colour combinations, so they’re deliberately odd but still look like they belong together. They pull on as easily as socks but feel like slippers, with a fluffy faux fleece lining all the way through and non-slip patches on the soles for padding about the house.
The odd pairings are part of the story. VERLOOP began as knitwear producers who were tired of watching good yarn get thrown away, so they started saving leftover deadstock yarn from landfill and knitting it into something new. Working with whatever colours are to hand keeps their designs playful and a little unpredictable. It all happens under one roof, in a family-owned factory in the Philippines.
